How do you handle attribution discrepancies between Affluent and platform-native dashboards (Meta, Google Ads, etc.)?

Hey everyone,

Quick question for those of you actively using Affluent.io to report on multi-platform ad performance:

I’ve noticed some recurring attribution discrepancies between the data shown in Affluent vs. what's shown in native ad dashboards like Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads—especially when comparing conversion metrics.

For example, Affluent might show 20 conversions from a campaign, while Meta reports 35 for the same date range and campaign. I’ve already double-checked the account connections, time zones, and filters applied, and everything seems correct.

My main question is:
How are you accounting for or explaining these inconsistencies to clients when they ask why the numbers don’t match?
Are there best practices or explanations you typically use to bridge this gap?

Also, are there any settings within Affluent I might be overlooking that could help align reporting more closely?

Would love to hear how others are approaching this—especially for high-spend accounts where small percentage differences can look significant.

Thanks in advance!
