I learned more about patience, failure, and resilience from Doodle Baseball — a Google Doodle game — than I ever expected to.

The Game That Sneaks Up on You

It all started, as these things often do, with procrastination.

I was “working.” My to-do list was glaring at me. My motivation? Missing in action.

Then I saw it — a cute little doodle on Google’s homepage. A slice of pie holding a bat. A peanut pitcher with attitude.
I clicked it.

Boom. Doodle Baseball.

At first, I laughed. How could something so silly be this charming? But one round turned into two, then ten, then… well, let’s not talk about how long I played.

It wasn’t just a game — it was a mirror. A reflection of every time I’d tried, failed, and refused to give up.
